World-leading designer and manufacturer of ultrasonic, non-destructive testing equipment used in advanced engineering sectors such as aerospace, Oil and Gas, Marine and power generation.

The equipment is used as part of the rigorous and highly-regulated checks for any defects in complex manufactured components.

The Role:

Due to continued growth and success they are seeking to expand their ultrasonic applications capability and are looking for another Ultrasonic Applications Development Engineer.

Responsibilities will include:

Utilising the company’s world leading hardware to help clients develop inspection processes and apply technology

Provide continuous input into the ongoing hardware development

Support technical queries and business development activities

Reproducing and troubleshooting client problems, providing timely, accurate and effective solutions to technical problems

Working in collaboration with leading NDT solutions providers in research and development programmes

Requirements:

Degree qualified in Engineering or a science related field.

Background of 5-10 years in ultrasonic technique development – ideally with Phased array or Full Matrix Capture experience

Experience of industrial level research in an ultrasonic field

It would be an advantage to be Level 2 or equivalent
